Aaron Harries
Aaron Harries brings a lifetime of agriculture and three decades of industry experience to every episode of Wheat’s On Your Mind.
Raised on a diversified crop and dairy farm in northeast Kansas, Aaron earned a degree in agricultural communications from Kansas State University before beginning a career serving the state’s farmers and agribusinesses.
Since 2006, Aaron has worked for Kansas Wheat and currently serves as Vice President of Research and Operations.
His work connects Kansas wheat producers with research, improved genetics, practical management information and domestic and international markets.
As host of Wheat’s On Your Mind, Aaron draws upon that experience to explore the complete wheat story—from the people raising the crop to the researchers improving it and the customers using it around the world.
His conversations make complex subjects approachable while keeping Kansas wheat farmers at the heart of the program.
